As we travel on towards the Bay of Fundy, which is where this phenomenon begins, we see more and more interesting places where the tides are affecting the landscape. The tides are so strong and volatile they scour the floor of the bay and bring up many fossils and gem stones and deposit them on the dry floor upstream as the tide goes out.
