We left mid-morning on our way to Bar Harbor for a cruise on a reproduction of an old sailing ship. Our intention was to go early afternoon and then have dinner there. After arriving there in Bar Harbor we called to make reservations and were told it was too windy but they expected the winds to die down so that we could go on a sunset cruise at 6 PM. We decided to do that and had lunch there in Bar Harbor. For a long time Gene has said he wanted to have a Lobster Dinner while in Maine so he did with all the fixins and he enjoyed it very much and thinks he will have more lobster while we are here in the northeast. Sue had haddock which is a very good fish. . Obviously we could not take a picture of the schooner with the sails set while we were on it so I borrowed this picture from a web site: http://www.downeastsail.com/

The wind had died down to almost nothing when we were ready to board so we did not sail very fast or very far before it was time to return to the harbor. It was fun to see them set the sails on the Rachel B. Jackson Schooner. The cruise was ok but not very exciting however we did get a beautiful sunset picture.
