Greetings from Quartzsite, Arizona. This is a unique town. It is all centered around Snowbird RV'ers. The town claims one million Rv'ers come to this town each year. Most of them are here in January and February when this town turns into a giant flea market. Today most all of the signs of flea market are gone as well as most of the Rv'ers. There are a pretty good number of older people who live here year round living in RV's or small manufactured homes. It is a cheap place to live and I am told many of them are living here because it is cheap living. It gets quite hot here in the summer with very mild temperatures in the winter. It does get pretty cold during the night though but warms up quickly. The area here has small mountains but they are not very pretty. The desert flowers and cactus are interesting to look at. We would never want to settle here but would like to come back when they are having the BIGGGG flea market just to see it. As I said it is a unique city. We will be leaving here tomorrow morning. Plan to stay at Walmart in Bullhead City, Arizona tomorrow night and then on to Pahrump which is west of Las Vegas and East of Death Valley. I will send some pictures when I figure out how !!??
