We are now in Mexico Beach, Florida which is a small “beach town” with lots of condos along the beach, small restaurants and a beautiful beach. We will be here for about 10 days. We are having an awning installed on the driver’s side of the RV to cover the kitchen and living room windows. It will help keep out the hot summer sun. We are enjoying this campground. We stayed here in December of 2004. The beach is great. The sands are almost pure white, very clean and fun to walk along. The campground is about a mile from the beach so we walk down to the beach and then walk on the beach for a while and back home. Makes a nice day of exercise for us. Today, a weekend day, when we were there many others were also enjoying the beach. Some were fishing, some sunbathing and kids were playing in the water and sand. We love it. I think we must really look like tourists because we were the only ones there without swimwear and just walking up and down the beach. I picked up more shells that I think I can incorporate into some jewelry. Which reminds me: As a hobby, I have been dabbling in making jewelry. Along with my daughter, who makes much more beautiful and professional pieces than I, we have recently opened a store on the Internet. For me it is an outlet for my fun hobby.
