6/8 As we left Dawson Creek we gassed up and received a 7 cent per litre discount toward food purchases. Gasoline is really high here in Canada so this was a help. I wish I was smart enough to tell you how much it is in U.S. money but can’t. I will just tell you it is around $1.00 Canadian money per litre. Starting out we are in a valley and we don’t see any mountains. Again it looks very much like the countryside in Kansas and the temperature is much like in Kansas too. Most of the small town are far apart and are pretty much industrial, natural gas, and natural gas byproducts, some oil, forestry, and forestry byproducts. We saw another bear, right in the middle of the road but it ran away before I could get a picture. We also saw a big moose. We are staying in Fort Nelson at the Westend RV and Campground. We will be here until our mail arrives
