The Port Authority in NYC is huge, as big as some airports. It has several hundred buses that come into and out of the bus depot during rush hour each day and I can’t begin to tell how many gates there are for those buses. One can make connections for the subway, commercial bus lines like Greyhound, local buses, taxis and even trains. The Port Authority, as the subway, takes some time to learn how to make your way around and figure out where to go to buy tickets and which gate to board for the right bus. Oh my we learned so much and had such a good time.
