We hopped on the subway and rode it to Penn Station just to say we had been there and noticed that right next door is Madison Square Garden. That was a surprise to us. We then walked a ways and found ourselves down in Time Square where we found a subway to take us to Grand Central Station. Way back when I, Sue, was a junior in high school I went on a school sponsored trip by train to New York City and Washington DC. I remembered Grand Central Station as we got off the train and walked into this gigantic room. It has not changed much over the years. It is still big and beautiful. We had fun looking around and had a nice lunch in the food court that is now there. Many people use the trains to commute from work to home and a good number of people here are just tourists as are we.
